Applying the Handstand to CrossFit

This course is intended for those of you who have a basic understanding of the handstand and moving your body as you are inverted, but would like to learn how to handstand walk longer or perform larger sets of handstand push-ups. During this seminar, you will be provided with drills that can be applied not only at your gym, but at home as well. What you can expect are as follows:
• How to develop better body control and awareness.
• Drills used to develop more efficient handstand walking.
• Drills to develop and improve the handstand push-up.
• How to apply these drills at home.
• Difference between handstands: CrossFit vs. Gymnastics.
Due to the skills we will be working on during this seminar, the athletes that sign up must meet two prerequisites:
1. Must be able to hold a :30 hollow hold on the ground.
2. Must be able to hold a :45 handstand against the wall.

"Gymnastics has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old and since then I’ve competed nationally, was a Collegiate division 1 gymnast, coached Junior Olympic athletes, and judged numerous meets. I’d love to share my knowledge with any who wish to add the handstand to their skill set."
